This track is about a really crazy story I heard on BBC Radio 4 one morning. A guy was publicising a book he had written on a psychological phenomenon that occurred in France in 1518 where inhabitants of Strasbourg danced continuously until they died of dehydration or exhaustion.
This was explained by an outbreak of mass hysteria brought on by famine, disease and despair among the populace.
The title 'Iterate This' is a reference to the four days that the first person to start the dance lasted for before collapsing.
I open my eyes and I can still hear them dancing as if devils were driving their shells
As the morning light turns to evening iterate this four more times
Iterate this four more times
Iterate this till you drop like flies
